welcome to Small and Martin Orthodontics
To do its part to help contain the spread of coronavirus, Small, Martin and Piers Orthodontics will be suspending all non-essential care from today through the end of March. As always, we will continue to be available to provide emergency care. We have made this decision with the best interests of our patients, team and community in mind, and are doing so in response to two important statements:
- The NC State Board of Dental Examiners strongly recommends that dentists postpone non-emergency care for two weeks
- The American Association of Orthodontists supports recommendations by White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Deborah L. Birx to postpone any elective dentistry for the next two weeks
If you or your child have an appointment scheduled between now and the end of March, our office will be calling you soon to reschedule. Our doctors are reviewing each patient’s treatment status as appointments are rescheduled in order to minimize the impact this delay will have on your overall treatment time. We plan to resume normal operations the week of April 1, and will notify you as soon as possible of any changes.
Again, if you have an urgent need during this time, we will be available for emergency appointments. Please call our office so we may determine the best course of action for your specific situation.
We look forward to seeing you back in our office soon!
